I've enjoyed taking pictures for over 20 years.  I really began getting more serious about photography after my first SLR camera was stolen in Hawaii.

Having my 15 year old, but trusty camera stolen in Hawaii allowed me to upgrade my equipment. I thought about going digital, but the quality and price weren’t where I needed them to be so I bought a 35mm film SLR camera.  In 2006, I decided that the time was right for me to go digital. I took the plunge into a Canon 30D which allowed me to use the lenses and equipment I had accumulated so far.

As I update this site, most of the new pictures will be digital. There are some of my older shots that are scans of 4x6 prints. The quality of all of  the actual pictures is better than on this website.

You may also notice that there are some good pictures on the site that were taken with disposable underwater cameras, or the simple point and shoot, 1MP camera mode of my camcorder. When I see a good picture, I'll use what ever I have to take it.

I hope you enjoy looking through these pictures. Be sure to check back as I add new pictures when time permits.

Please contact me if you'd like me to take pictures for you, or would like copies of any photos you see on this site.

Thanks for taking the time to look, I appreciate it.
