This is the original picture of my son looking up at The Lincoln Memorial that was published in the Charlotte Observer. It was taken on a summer trip to DC. The memorial was crowded, and I was in the corner looking for a good picture. The crowd parted for an instant, and I saw my son standing there staring up. I snapped this shot before the crowd reconverged. (scanned print)
